Your first stop is Vatican City, where you’ll have approximately 2 hours to explore the area at your own pace.Admire the magnificent Colonnade designed by Bernini and the impressive façade of St. Peter’s Basilica. Take in views of Castel Sant’Angelo, capture memorable photos, browse the nearby souvenir shops, or pause for an authentic Italian espresso in the heart of St. Peter’s Square.

Continue to the historic heart of Rome for approximately 3 hours of outdoor sightseeing. Discover some of the city’s most iconic landmarks as you explore the area on foot. Pass by Tiber Island and the famous Mouth of Truth before reaching the impressive Piazza Venezia and the Altare della Patria, also known as the Monument to Victor Emmanuel II. Continue along Via dei Fori Imperiali, surrounded by the remains of Ancient Rome, before arriving at the legendary Colosseum and the Arch of Constantine.
